Interior Tips For The Best Nights Sleep - Flair Rugs

29

MARCH, 2020

Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird, we can all agree on one thing, it’s important to get a good night’s sleep, with the optimum amount of time being 8 hours.

From stress to your diet there are many reasons why you might not be getting your full 8 hours, but your sleeping environment could be key to a good night’s sleep. With some subtle changes to your interiors we’re exploring the optimum shades and styles for some well-deserved shuteye.

Research suggests that your brain is calmed by the colour blue, picking a cerulean shade could be inducive to get you off to bed as soon as your head hits the pillow.

Science proves that when your body feels calmed it can lower your heart rate and reduce blood pressure, perfect for getting your full eight hours.

Not a fan of blue? Give your room a contemporary but peaceful update with on-trend silver and greys, ideal for injecting some calming and cool hues into your sleep space.

Add an element of glamour with accents of metallics, ideal for a stylish snoozer.

This season’s top trend is all about getting back to nature so try some neutral shades to give your room a skandi yet serene update.

Play with natural fibres like jute and dried grasses to give your space a detoxed and stripped back feeling. Layer different textures to retain comfort and warmth, without compromising on style.

Pretty pastel pinks are popular and here to stay. Pale pink can inject positivity and feelings of relaxation into your space, ideal for creating a calm and welcoming environment, while remaining one of this season’s top trends.
