Mr Dinesh Shah joins the management team at Flair Flooring Supplies Ltd.
1984
Anthony Dixon became the first employee at Flair Flooring Supplies Ltd.
1987
On the move, the business relocates from Crown Point to bigger 6000sq.ft. premises in Denton.
1987
Turnover reaches £1 million a year.
1989
Sees the companies first direct major purchase from China. Due to this growth, Flair expands the Denton headquarters by another 6,500 sq.ft.
1994
Spreading out! We buy our neighbours building – Unit 2 Grey Street, Denton and create a further 6000sq.ft. of much needed space.
1998
Due to massive growth development begins of Unit 5 Grey Street – a three storey warehouse in Denton, creating 18,000sq.ft.
2003
A new name & new Rugs with Flair Logo is created. Still growing…..we purchase a 34,000sq.ft. building in Oswaldtwistle, and work commences on the renovation.
2004
For the first time our turnover reached £1 million in one month. Another first was purchasing our first 1 million sq.mtr. order from 1 factory in 12 months.
2005
The Rugs with Flair Indian Office is officially open for business.
2006
Neel Shah joins the business and the company continues to grow reaching a turnover of £10 million. The company also starts selling into the mail order industry.
2010
Etherow Works is purchased and a massive 125,000 sq.ft. warehouse is to be created … Etherow Works, over £1million renovation project starts.
2011
The company makes a milestone move into their newly renovated premises in March & April of this year.
2012
Rugs with Flair re-brands to Flair Rugs in August of this year.
2014
We celebrate our 30th Anniversary!
2017
Flair Rugs is named Furniture Award Winner in the ‘Décor’ category.
2017
Exclusive V&A Inspired collection launched – inspired by the wonderful archives at the world’s leading museum of Art, Design and Performance.
