Digital Trading & Marketing Manager
We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Trading & Marketing Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a tenacious and talented digital marketing professional with a strong knowledge of consumer trends and online shopper behaviour. You will need the ability to think both commercially and creatively whilst being able to juggle multiple projects and adhere to tight deadlines within a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you’ll have at least three years’ experience in a similar role and a relevant degree.

- Proficiency in relevant systems and software, including SEMRush and Phocas
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent numeracy and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments, in an efficient, agile way
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
Main responsibilities:
- Overall owner of digital trading performance for key B2B customer accounts
- Identify ways to drive sales and web participation
- Ownership of the trade calendar and the delivery of accurate and on-time seasonal and promo launches
- Managing seasonal product and category level content requirements, aligning with our key customer channel needs
- Strong market and competitor awareness and the ability to produce actionable category insights
- Support the NPD team using data led insight and market monitoring
- Lead on web and multichannel growth streams
- Support the NPD team on product strategy for two major seasonal launches per year
- Conduct regular online content audits with recommendations to improve customer experience
- Weekly and monthly reporting using Phocas
- Perform deep dives for opportunity areas, proactively identifying solutions
- Any other relevant tasks or reporting needed to optimise web conversion and sales performance
- Line management of one team member

- A good understanding of the omni-channel customer journey and the relationship between stores and web in a relevant consumer goods category
- A consumer champion and category expert, backed up by solid data and consumer insight

- Analytical – ability to produce and interpret Marketing effectiveness and attribution data
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- A creative mind, with the ability to understand emerging trends and what it takes to engage customers

- Skilled in influencing key stakeholders externally and internally at all levels to drive the category
