As the main point of contact for all our colleagues at Flair, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring everyone is paid on time every four weeks. Bringing your attention to detail into this role will be a vital ingredient in making this process seamless and error-free.

About You: 

  • Be an excellent communicator, serving as the point of contact for all colleagues and liaising with external parties regarding payroll.
  • An analytical mindset, ensuring meticulous scrutiny of financial data, swift issue resolution, and compliance with evolving regulations.
  • Possess a flexible attitude and approach handling time and attendance data from different departments.
  • Offering accuracy and excellent attention to detail in processing pay, completing journals, and reconciliations within our accounting software reflects a commitment to precision.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage 4-weekly payroll using in-house software.
  • Coordinate with managers to process the hours worked by our colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate colleague information with assistance from HR.
  • Calculate shift payments, overtime, parental pay, SSP, DEA, etc.
  • Prepare BACS payments.
  • Ensure precise HMRC submissions, addressing and PAYE issues should they arise.
  • Look after pension administration i.e. contributions, auto enrolment, regulator declarations etc.
  • Analyse and report on payroll data.
  • Support the finance team by completing journals and reconciliations.

Key Skills:

  • Experience of end-to-end payroll process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of pension schemes.
  • Time Management.
  • Experience of high-volume payroll of at least 150+ colleagues.
  • Multitasker and highly organised.
  • Exposure to non-UK payroll processing.

Salary: £25,000 – £27,000

Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37.50 hours per week

Hybrid working: While you’re finding your feet at Flair, you will spend most of your days in the office where we work the core hours of 09:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday with flexible start/finish times according to your schedule and location needs.
